Survive the rudest awakenings Somehow my daydreams find a way Through red eyes You’re looking at a man with a vision Music keeps saving me Each song is a lily pad on lakes of fire Giving me the grace to keep on stepping out Magic in the blood If I had a Cadillac I’d turn this shit up Roll the windows down Cigarette, leaning like a junky Pusher man pusher man Sunday greens for the monkey on my spine And no plateau I keep climbing I’m finding that my lows Contain highs, bright shadows Like the snake let me say You’re the apple of my eye And no sample I’m plugged in to the grapevine echoes That’s right Hello hello hello hello? Through spaceship radio Hanging on to every note I crave your tempo My soul’s insatiable And I survive the rudest awakenings Somehow my daydreams find a way Through red eyes You’re looking at a man with a vision Music keeps saving me Each song is a lily pad on lakes of fire Giving me the grace to keep on stepping out We’ve got magic in the blood I ain’t asking you for much Just a little cut Cause what’s an addict but a lover So attracted to the glow That I sacrifice my body For the Holy Ghost

Pour me out into your flood Pour me out into your Pour me out into Pour me out Pour me Pour Music stays through these high lows You can find me Playing shadow tag with the one behind me That close To my sweet lord Like George and John Are strumming these chords Different names same source Playing shadow tag with the one behind me That close Straight jacket or angel wings You can find me Inside of you darling With waves following melody storms Flood warnings when you.. Pour me out into your flood Pour me out into your Pour me out into Pour me out Pour me Pour Pure gold in greys Even in death recognize your face It’s been a long time coming At the end of the road We will take to the sky into the thunder Seasons change Lifetimes like episodes Don’t fast forward Little things that I miss I know Essential to the bigger picture Try to keep up Said my spirit to my overthinker We don’t need much Just love and a mind for invention Just want to let you know That your heart is a weapon In the wrong hands My suggestion, slow dance with yourself Show affection To the one inside you try to hide God to god my reflection Waves crashing on shores Backwards forward magnetized obsession.. Pour me out into your flood Pour me out into your Pour me out into Pour me out Pour me Pour Music stays Shadow tag My sweet lord Strumming these chords Same source

Like bubble in a bag, baby Or trying to carry wind in vain Like trying to put water in a frame I can never contain you Like bubble in a bag, baby How can I explain to you When the mystery keeps changing on me These harmonies for pain, pain Ring true I’ll be there when it all falls down I’ll be there when the luck runs out Heartbroken with your head down Like seeds in frozen ground Come spring I’ll be the one Chaos is a feeling not a truth order in the seeds and in the roots Trying to build a theory with a fraction of the proof The antidote is not a serum the cure is not a vaccination The body longs for a vacation The heart is seeking reparations I know that you know you can’t see The meaning of eternity The pollen in the bees mouth Like trees in frozen ground Come spring I’ll be the one

Awake in the shadows Don’t know if I’m real Looking for something To make me feel Like holding up my head To meet the sun again today Axas Abraxas Pacing with echoes Thorn in the law still Visions of one map Lost in the treadmill Show me how to run And meet the sun again today Too much moon not enough sun Too much sun not enough moon Too much moon not enough sun Too much sun not enough moon Frankenstein Call me Frankenstein Amalgamations Combinations I try to find Chaos harmonies Frankenstein Call me Frankenstein Amalgamations Combinations I try to find Chaos harmonies

about

Zachary Murdock (Channel The Sun) and Michael Spivack (Prospect Lux) have never been in the same room together. But their musical relationship, which began at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, grew rapidly as their native styles combined seamlessly. With a relentless work ethic, they stayed connected via phone, FaceTime, email, and text co-writing and producing track after track for various projects until they fell upon the realization that they were telling a story that spanned over several short albums. “Sunday Greens”, the first in the series, is rooted in the Earth and in the human mind as the character explores the broken fragments of yesterday while bravely running towards the future with haunting optimism and vision.

“Each song is a lily pad on lakes of fire…”

With Prospect Lux’s experimental futuristic production topped off with classic touches of strings, pianos, visual textural synths and unique beat forms combined with Murdock’s cutting and memorable poetry, Sunday Greens is an all encompassing piece of sonic art.
